There is a lot to consider recreating outdoors and bear encounters are something I think a lot about. Probably also not in the way most folks think about them because I would like to see them everywhere I go and I am delighted by all the bears, every time. I worry about getting them into trouble and killed by being careless humans so much more than is probably reasonable so there was truly never a debate for me when man vs bear became a trending topic.
