Product Details

The MXZ176 offers incredible performance, stability, warmth and all day comfort. With a sealed upper designed to keep your foot warm against cold wind, the MXZ176 is a great alternative to wearing shoe covers.

Please note that sizes 36-38 do not accept toe spikes

Sizing Suggestion: For use with winter weight socks we recommend ordering 1-1.5 size up from your normal Lake Cycling shoe size.

Last

 – The higher cadence & longer ride times which characterize road cycling require excellent foot control to avoid hot-spots & numbness. With a much closer fit than any of our off-road lasts, our Sport last cradles the foot securely to prevent any unwanted movement. This last features a precisely fitted toe-box, high arch & mid width ball girth.

Outsole

Hypergrip Enduro Sole with Ice Lock anti-slip lug inserts.

Upper

Clarino Microfiber & mesh upper. The MXZ176 features form fitting and durable microfiber with a comfortable and secure BOA® closure. Front 1/2 toe to midfoot features 200gram Thinsulate Insulation to give a comfortable & insulating barrier for increased warmth and cold wind resistance.

Closure

BOA® Fit System L6 dial with power strap in the forefoot. The L6 dial offers a precise, micro-adjustable fit, maximum impact protection and durability.

Temperature Rating

Down to 25°F/-4°C

Water Resistance

The uppers are treated with a durable water resistant (DWR) coating that will wear away over time. We recommend reapplying a DWR spray 1-2 times a year for moderate riders and every 2-3 wet rides for daily riders.
